AccountingTV - CPD for Accountants

AccountingTV is a quarterly update programme covering the latest news affecting those working in UK and international accountancy and financial reporting.

The programme is available as an annual subscription, to view online or download from the internet. The programme is relevant to anyone working in UK or international accountancy industry.

Each programme lasts approximately 45 minutes and will feature:

Industry expert Guy Loveday and Giles Mooney discussing current accounting news and stories highlighting their importance to all sizes of business.
Interviews with relevant accounting experts using their specialist knowledge to offer practical guidance.
A review of a particular note to the accounts and the issues associated with it for all company sizes and all forms of GAAP.
A detailed analysis of one of the most important issues in the profession today, such as working with start up companies or watching out for fraud.

Watching AccountingTV can count towards your structured CPD requirements and, more importantly, can help you help your clients. If you prepare or review financial statements in the UK or further afield, AccountingTV is for you.

How it works

At the beginning of each quarter a new edition of AccountingTV is uploaded to the web site.

AccountingTV can be watched as one programme or as four separate chapters.

Subscribers are alerted by email, and can login and view the latest episode choosing from three different file sizes to suit their bandwidth.

The email contains a quick overview of the episode's content and a schedule of discussion points pertinent to the episode. By signing and returning the discussion points, viewers can make a claim to count AccountingTV towards their CPD points/hours.

Subscribers are also able to download the programmes to their local machines to view offline at their convenience.

In addition, subscribers logged into the website can view the complete archive of previous episodes at the click of a mouse.

The subscription licence is valid for 12 months after this time access will revert to free content only - downloading quarterly episodes is recommended.
